Drought Relief Fundraiser for Rural Aid Australia

With the worst droughts in history affecting Queensland and Northern NSW, Australia’s farmers are struggling and need all the help they can get. Rural Aid Australia is a non-profit organisation committed to supporting Australia’s farmers and rural communities.

Rural Aid runs several support services and programs to assist our farmers, the most well-known being Buy a Bale. Just $20 provides a small bale of hay which is then transported to drought-affected areas to help in feeding farm animals. The organisation also provides a fantastic mental health program, offering counselling support to the drought-stricken farmers. Every dollar donated enables Rural Aid to continue supporting our farmers, the backbone of Australia.

Central Coast Leagues Club is proud to support our farmers and rural communities through our Drought Relief Fundraiser for Rural Aid Australia. We are pleased to announce that through the generous donations of our community we have raised an amazing $14,000 which we will match dollar for dollar to a total of $28,000.

We extend a special thanks to Two Wheel Obsession, Point Clare Public School, Terrigal High School, Gosford City Women’s Bowling Club, Avoca Beach Public School P&C and the many other individuals within our community for their wonderful donations.
